"The Millennium Trilogy"
I'd just finished "The Millennium Trilogy, the movie". It was originally a series of novels but later adapted into a series of films. "The Millennium Trilogy" consists 3 chapters which are "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo", "The Girl Who Played With Fire" & "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest". It was written by Stieg Larsson, a journalist & also a novelist. But sadly, he died before the 3 novels were published.
"The Millennium Trilogy" were inspired by the disgusting crime of every-part of the world which is sexual violence against women. The primary characters in the series are Lisbeth Salander & Mikael Blomkvist. Lisbeth (the actual girl with the dragon tattoo) is an intelligent, odd personality, a brilliant hacker with photogenic memory but very poor in social skills. She was sexually abused since she was still a child. The other character, Blomkvist, is an investigating journalist & a celebrity of his own right. Many people believed Blomkvist assembled the real-life of Larsson.
And the story....watch it yourself. The series is tooooooo long to be told here. And all the series are related, so, you have to watch it to get the whole story. And one more thing, the movies are in Swedish.

I personally recommend this series to the people who like Mysterious-Crime genre type of movie. 4 out of 5 for the whole series. Larsson's partner reported that she found some outline in Larsson's laptop & believed the outline may belonged to the continuation of the series. But whatever it is, the series will just stops at wherever it is. On next year, there will be an American version of "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo". So, if you want to wait for the English version of it, you have to wait until sometime in December 2011.
And lastly, good luck in your exam, love! Best of luck...

"Tron Legacy in 3D, too awesome for my eyes!!"
I mean the graphic is too awesome. The story...erm...is a little bit nonsense. BUT...this is only my point-of-view. What you think is your own business.
But the 3D in this movie was totally awesome. You can totally feel it. And the trailer they shown before the movie starts was awesome too. The movie is "Thor". Can't wait to watch that movie...in 3D. More 3D scene in that movie. I just fell in love with 3D.
The story is all about a guy, Sam Flynn, son of former CEO of Encom International & creator of popular arcade game "Tron", Kevin Flynn, trap in the game "Tron". So, the story basically is Sam need to survive that game & get the hell out back to reality world.
If not because I watch this in 3D, I think I might fall asleep (which I actually did for 2 minutes). 3 out of 5 |
And lastly, a simple Quote of the Day. "Yo, man, SHUT THE FUCK UP!!".
